Description

SymInstap for S60 is an application to add URL's to the Instapaper read later bookmark service.

Usage

You need an Instapaper account and have to enter your personal Instapaper 'username' (e.g. E-Mail adress) and 'password' (if you have one) in the settings dialog. See the Screenshots for more detailed instructions on how to use SymInstap.
Remember A long press on # key (arrow up) or pencil key activates copy and paste on S60.

Limitations

The currently used dialog for entering URL's is limited to 80 characters.

Screenshots

  • SymInstap main screen. Click the Enter URL section or use the Options menu to enter an URL to be added to Instapaper.
  • Dialog to enter the long URL to be added to Instapaper. Enter an URL or paste an URL from the clipboard by a long press of the # key (arrow up) or pencil key.
  • The long URL to be added to Instapaper is entered. Press OK to confirm.
  • Ready for adding. The cursor jumped to the add URL to Instapaper section. Click here or use the Options menu. SymInstap will establish an internet connection and send the URL to the Instapaper server, where the URL will be saved in your Instapaper account. Visit your Instapaper account for reading later and managing your stored read later bookmarks.
  • The URL was successfull added to your Instapaper account. The added URL is shown in the top section.
  • Back in main screen again. Ready to add another URL to your Instapaper account ;-)
